A message from Cookology Culinary Recreational School owner Maria Kopsidas:

Hey Folks, We are following the closings from our school systems for Covid19 for both Loudoun and Arlington. We are closing all classes this weekend, and will be closed until further notice in Loudoun County.

For Arlington, the schools are still open and closing on Monday, March 16, however, given that we want to honor the “social distancing” rule, we are going to close the majority of our classes for the weekend. Arlington Public Schools are monitoring the situation with the goal of being closed through Spring Break.

However, we are still planning to be open Spring Break April 6. And like, all school systems, this quote specifically from ACPS, “We will continue to evaluate and monitor the situation on a daily basis and will provide an update on our plans as new information is available.”

Everyone will be receiving an email from us.

This is an unprecedented moment in all of our lives. We love all of you and are praying for all of our families and communities.

We are going to take this time to do some cooking class live or recorded videos–like how to make canned green beans taste less like that school lunch you remember, and more like a michelin starred dish! So stay tuned…you won’t want to miss it.(Snore) We were also thinking an Zoom dance party and drinking games. (Way more interesting).

Stay close to our newsletter, we are putting out massive deals and discounts while we’re closed to generate some revenue, so we don’t close permanently.

Warmly,
Maria Kopsidas
