2020 Summer Camp Registration is Open!
In every Cookology Summer Camp, young chefs learn essential skills to prepare and execute delicious meals of varying themes. Throughout the multi-day camps, our professional chefs will train your child in proper kitchen safety, knife and heat skills for appropriate ages, and a multitude of techniques that will stay with them forever.

This summer, we have tons of themes from Culinary Bootcamp, Basic Baking Boot Camp, Plant-Based International Cuisine, Home-Style Cooking, French or Italian Cuisine, and Around the World fares!
Culinary Bootcamp In this hands-on camp/workshop, students will learn culinary essentials including knife skills, stocks, soups, and sauces. Every day we’ll master a new technique and three-four recipes.
Do you have an up and coming pastry chef on your hands? If so, the Basic Baking Boot Camp will provide your young chef with baking and pastry essentials including cakes, cookies, muffins, crusts, bread, tarts and more.
ALL NEW THIS SUMMER: Plant-Based International Cuisine camp will equip your young chef with all that he/she needs to be able to prepare great-tasting vegan and vegetarian dishes.
Is your Chef-in-Training is looking for a challenge this summer?! The French Cuisine camp is definitely for them! Whether they’ve practiced in the kitchen for years or are just getting started, this camp is sure to give them an immersive experience in French culture and cuisine!
One of our most popular camps, the Italian Cuisine camp isn’t just fun to do, it is often joyous – where cooking with passion is encouraged! With handmade pasta, pizza pies, and sauces, you’ll feel like you just came back from overseas!
Bring it on back home with this year’s Homestyle Camps! Experience different versions of comfort food from all over with favorites like Fried Chicken, Fresh Pasta, Chicken Pot Pie, and so much more!
Take a trip around the world this summer without leaving Virginia! In Around the World camp, you’ll experience cuisines from all across the globe like Mexico, France, Italy, and more while learning all the fundamentals you need to know in the kitchen!

Post Camp for Ages 8-11!

Day 1: Making Ice Cream & Yogurts. Beginning Cheeses and Ice Box Cookies – We will learn how to make fresh delicious ice cream, sorbet, Froyo and regular yogurt. We will start our cheeses and icebox cookies.

Day 2: Finishing Milk Cheeses and Ice Box Cookies – Both of these require some extra time, so we will finish what we started the day before.

Day 3: Fast Food Hacking – We’ll take a trip to the food court, pick out a few favorites and teach the kids how to make the same dishes without all the additives. They’ll also learn to make natural sodas and milkshakes and non-dairy shakes.

Day 4: Nutrition and Calories -In this class, we will teach kids how to read the nutrition labels. Chefs will make something with full calories and then we show how to make the same dish with fewer calories. We will create and print real nutrition labels online, and they will pack up the dishes to take it home.

Day 5: Farming -Kids will explore what it means to have an organic farm, what organic means, and USDA, California Organic guidelines. They will plant their own seeds of their choice to start a garden in their yard or windowsill, which they will take home.
