Since early July, the aroma of “memorably scrumptious cookies” has filled the air at Cookology in Dulles Town Center! Julie Strange from Noshy Cookies has become Cookology’s first Incubator Kitchen client, whipping up her delicious signature cookies such as Mexican Hot Chocolate Sugar, Cardamom Molasses, and Mexican Hot Chocolate Sugar along with cookie staples like Snickerdoodles, Chocolate Chip, and more!
With a slogan like “Memorably scrumptious cookies. Mindfully chosen ingredients”, you can expect only the best from Noshy Cookies. Not only does she choose ingredients that are natural, she buys from companies with ethical practices who stand for the causes she believes in!
Julie got her start in the kitchen with her father during Christmas in South Jersey and has been going strong ever since! On her website, Julie admits, “I don’t have a specific memory of being taught how to bake; it’s something that I’ve always known how to do.” Even when her family wasn’t baking themselves, there were always cookies in their house growing up. Fast-forward to 2018 and Julie’s addiction to cookies hasn’t changed one bit.
Throughout her adult life, Julie has dipped her toes into multiple careers but says, “In hindsight, it seems that despite my education and initial professional choices, cookies were bound to be a thing.” And luckily, they happen to be a thing at Cookology until Julie can find a new space of her own! We couldn’t be more excited to have Julie and her talented staff with us and she has truly become apart of our family here.
