COOKOLOGY BALLSTON QUARTER OPENS NEW CULINARY SCHOOL APRIL 6
Arlington, VA – (March 29, 2019) Maria Kopsidas, owner of Cookology Culinary School is pleased to announce the opening of her second culinary school in the Ballston Quarter Mall April 6.
Cookology Ballston Quarter store is a 6000 square foot professional kitchen space with six teaching kitchens surrounded by walls of windows with views of Arlington, as well as wired meeting and conference space for large groups.. Hands-on cooking classes dominate the programming for adults and kids. They’re award winning kids program includes spring and summer camps, family classes and weekend classes. Corporate teambuilding is interactive and delicious, and offers team bonding cooking and mystery basket challenges. Mixology classes are a new offering in Ballston Quarter and will focus on classic cocktails to new techniques building flavors.

Along with the new space, Kopsidas is excited to welcome Dave Hammerly as the General Manager of the store. Most recently Hammerly joined the team from the successful launch of the Anthem at the Wharf and more than 29 years with the 9:30 Club. Additionally, Paul Miller has joined the team as Food and Beverage Director. Miller has extensive experience in the grocery retail category having worked at While Foods and Harris Teeter as well as Sehkraft where he ran a successful butcher shop.
Opening will be officially, April 6, with a weekend of cooking classes and demonstrations from guest chefs. They will be featuring new guest chefs every weekend who will offer different classes and tastings.
